Chef's Festival

lat march 6, 2013 Hospitality Management students celebrates Chef's Festival where students shares their talents or practice their skills or what we have learned. this happens every year, last year I joined the towel folding contest me and my two classmates, which we won the second prize which is a dinner  to Lotus Garden. its just sad because they don't give a certificate which matter's the most for me than a free dinner to a restaurant actually i want a certificate and a trophy but the trophy is just for the 1st winner. but now every participants have a certificate and that's what I like hahaha

The theme for this event is summer fiesta. the whole day was a stressful and at the same time it is also a happy day. I really enjoyed it, another experience for me, another memory to remember, another achievement.

we baked the cupcakes the other day, because it will take too long if we bake it on the day of the event (and its cupcake the lifespan of bread is bit longer) , and  the chef's wars contestants will use the laboratory (main dishes cannot cook before the day of the event it might get spoiled or something)

wew, as I was saying that day was stressful we come to lab 30 minutes before the time, we must finished doing the boiled icing and it really took too long to do a boiled icing (we have a deduction for being late ) and after that another two hours to design...

me and my group mates really did our best but unfortunately we did not got the first rank, it's kinda frustrating but it's okay ( NO HARD FEELINGS at all) at least  experienced it.
